Oscar8 is infamous around these parts
Apple CarPlay Randomly Disconnecting
Has anyone had trouble when plugging in their iPhones, random disconnections from Apple CarPlay? Mine works most of the time but occasionally just ends its connection. Thank you

Yes but in a different car and radio. I think it is a carplay problem

If you drive through area of poor or no cell coverage this can happen?

I had the same problem with my 2017 TT. The dealer did an update to the software (Via the OBD Port) in April and it works perfectly.

I have a 991.2 carrera and CarPlay always looses its connection after a restart of the ignition.

Which dealer did the software update? I’d like to ask them for details to pass along to my dealer.
