That would be annoying if the dealer didn't at least respond back, for sure. Glad you got it worked out!

Amazing how quick people are to judge posters as soon as they post something negative.

Glad you got it all sorted out OP, and good that you posted up here to let us know about your poor experience with Champion!!

Being who they are doesn't give them the right to jerk people around the way they did you, and public forums are one of the best ways to fight back against businesses who don't do the right thing.

Thats why online reviews are key today! It helps keep business honest.

**** the customer, theres an unlimited supply of you and if you don't like it tough, because you will submit like everyone else eventually does is everyone who's successful model.

every. major. brand.

if you feel like your car/watch/boat dealer likes you and treats you fair you are either retarded or the one who slipped thru the cracks.

on that note I ONLY pay with amex, infact I went an entire 2017 not paying for one single thing with cash or any other card, they are the only guys who do the right thing (****ing the retailer instead of you) when the chips are down and have helped me a few times greatly

I ended up ordering my Turbo in California, because in IL I didn't get a good discount. In fact, I got zero discount. There are dealers out there that do want your business. You just have to poke around and not CAVE when your gut says otherwise.

Read that on Carscoops...... some real shady **** there. Sucks a company or other individual's reputation not in connection with him can get easily damaged by one unscrupulous individual.

I'm curious has anyone experienced a warranty claim on an aftermarket install from Champion like a tune or something otherwise that Porsche would normally not entertain ?

Entitlement by the consumer started with Sears Roebuck and Company, but now everybody takes advantage of businesses due to a perversion of that famous "the customer is always right" advantage some people misappropriate. (and Sears is about out of business today)

Love it.

I ran into this when my father died of cancer before his 2014 Turbo came in and the dealership Rusnak Porsche did all they could not to refund the money even thought it was refundable. A few months after he passed away my mother bought in the death certificate and that did not work, then the will and they refused to refund the money because it was on a charge card that was closed upon his death. It took three years of asking and being denied until I decided to see if they would use the money as a credit on parts which they finally did. My dealer Scottsdale Porsche makes it clear that all deposits are refundable, I would never place a deposit with a dealer who did not have a refundable deposit policy as there are plenty of other Porsche dealers who do.

Just PM me with your contact and I will give it to the fellow who has given me and my buddies a substantial discount on the last 5 Porsches we have bought. His name is Todd Smith at Porsche Conshohocken in PA. He is a honest guy and a great salesman, and will take care of you.

Thank you so much!! Yeah I currently have a deposit down on a 2021 Carrera and am thinking I can do a bit better than the 6% disc, which I think they subtly trimmed back a bit when they pumped up the monthly lease rate. this will be my 8th carrera; love them but would like to see if I can get a straight discount. I will defin italy contact your guy asap. Bt the way, sorry about what happened at Champion; have gotten four from them with no issues but I never asked for a dep back. Too bad we didn't know eachother when this happened; I probably could have helped. Not sure how to PM on this, I'm new to it but my email is zorn333@gmail.com or I can just call him

Thanks again!
Andrew
