Request for Advise, 991.1 (2014 Turbo S) for Circuit tracks
Hello team..
i needed your help to decide, as I sold my 800whp mustang and about to get 2014 Turbo S (Stock), and the main objective of this car is
- Weekend Circuit Racing aka time attack
- Autocross
** Drag for fun, but not much power/time to put in
so, my questions are:
1- How do you see the stock car against my goal? Is it good? Or basically not the right car, or needs upgrades?
2- if it’s good but needs upgrades, my main concern is the heat/overheating since I’m doing like 10 to 12 laps continues till session ends and cool down, so what Performance upgrades that takes me to my goals without overheating?
3- Anyone tracking the car as me, I need to discuss few things aka Suspension mods, should race it with the Ceramic rotors or take them off and replacing with cheaper Brembo Iron rotors since it will get worn then changed frequently..etc.
appreciated.

it will be 80% for the track and weekend street fun.
I’m not going to chase any prizes, but likes the aggressive performance.
Buy a Cayman and send it to TPC Racing in MD for turbo and suspension set up but if $$$ is no object a Turbo S with suspension and mods can make you a hero, good luck!

what is the point, I couldn’t get it.
If you go to Porsche DE's event you'll see the hard core racers drives modded Caymans (cheaper and handles better so faster times) but since you'll be using it as a street car too a Turbo S with suspension will be perfect. Have fun!
