FABSPEED MOTORSPORT's 991 Carrera/Carrera "S" Sport headers provide great performance gains along with a more aggressive exhaust tone. This is done by improving the flow rate of the exhaust gases but utilizing merge collectors and smooth one piece mandrel bent exhaust tube runners. The other performance benefit is gained by usage of 200 Cell HJS tri-metallic catalytic converter cores - which outflow the OEM 600-900 cell catalytic converters by a land slide!

Joe, educate me. From what I see, both OEM and Fabspeed have 3 pipes connecting into 1. how is your system better than stock? for N/A cars, what is the expected power gain from this modification? thank you.

NS,

One major difference that makes our system better then OEM are the high flow catalytic convert cores. Our HJS cores are only 200 cell - which allows exhaust gasses to flow much more efficiently then the OEM cores which can range anywhere from 600-900 cells depending on the application. Yes, we do use a similar design as the OEM, but our system shows consistent gains of
23HP and 22TQ over the OEM headers.
