as much as i salute Porsche for keeping the manual alive and even investing fresh money in it, there is no doubt that this revised version of the PDK is the best Dual Clutch system available as of now.
"this latest iteration of PDK is the best automatic transmission I’ve ever driven. It borders on the psychic. Hurley Haywood says he doesn’t bother with the paddles; that PDK allows him to get around a track as fast as choosing his own ratios." (Yahoo)
"Quicker and smoother shifting -- yes, a great dual-clutch got even better -- the enhanced seven-speed PDK offers the best of both worlds." (Motortrend)
"If the 911's PDK isn't the world's finest automatic transmission, we don't know what is." (Autoblog)
but, good to see some support for the manual in one of the reviews, it´s up against something pretty convincing.
