Dealer test drives

 

My dealer launch party is 2/8.

 

My email from Downtown Porsche says Feb 2 from 4-8pm.

 

Tom did you order your 991 from there? The guys at Ray Catena are saying they are getting cars (Dealer) sometime in March. Does anybody know if SN in Long Branch has a launch date?

A CA. dealer getting 991's in March? THey must have made somebody at Porsche mad. Our state is landlocked and they are getting 991's in Jan- all 4 dealers. I believe most are on trucks now.

 

That's surprising to hear about Catena.

From talking to my salesman at SN, they are on the way and expected in February. I haven't heard about an official launch date yet, though.

 

This is Ray Catena in NJ that he is talking about.

 

I fly model airplanes at el toro / oc great park, and they have put together some elaborate tent/shelter area with a test track for the 991 launch. And we've been seeing bunch of 991's in and out of the place. This is supposed to be dealer training, but if they host the launch party here, it would mean test drive on autoX type course. Can't wait to try one!

I'd check with them again on that. All the other dealers in NJ that I have heard about (Paul Miller, Jack Daniels, Town etc.) are getting cars next month.

 

Local dealer in our area is saying around Feb. 2 for their launch party -- but it's not confirmed yet.

I know Jack Daniels is 2/4.....I might be in Florida and Naples Porsche is the same date!

Anybody else receive notice of a launch party being cancelled or delayed? Local dealer indicated today that their late January event was cancelled and would be rescheduled later, with no date indicated.
