It does, thanks! And I think that the Turbo was up and running this PM

I am so happy i have a list for Sean to do on my car lol. I cant wait to hear your exhaust i bet you get some gains from the new exhaust?

Ok I know this may sound weird but I was looking at his pics and I lost track of the flow of the exhaust. Now I am not crazy and I thought that the ordinary flow of exhaust is from one side to the other and it comes from the cat to the center and up into the top of the side muffler and out the bottom and then it can hit a valve for PSE or this AWE system. Here is the part I am loosing track, at the point were the valve is is that going to the inner most tip? This AWE system looks like it is bypassing the side mufflers and I don't think that is what it is doing. Am I wrong, or is the system a primary exhaust bypass?
The AWE exhaust follows roughly the same principle except that the exhaust gases can flow out without going through any kind of muffler/resonator and that there are less components (arranged in a different order) hence the lower weight too.
The thing that surprises me a bit is that the AWE design is not way different from the FVD exhaust I had before but that was too loud for me (whether it was is quiet our LOUD mode). This AWE exhaust achieves a better balance for how I use my car -quiet neighborhood / loud at the track / still not too loud to get a ticket from the local LEO's -
I hope i got it right. If not, it seems to work anyhow

One thing I noticed - the AWE exhaust uses much smaller pipes after the valves. Maybe that is enough to keep the noise down. Oh well, I'm pretty happy with my cargraphic, but the tips from AWE look great.

PS: Dibs on Sean BTW, still a lot of work to do on the E46 . The car is already there

AWE claims very reasonable power/torque improvements in the mid range so I have a tendency to believe them. I'll have plenty of opportunities to push the car over the next 3 days to check if my butt dyno confirms this.

I found this video of some new Techart "Valve Control Racing Exhaust" and it sounds the best to me. I cannot find the part on the web but it is awesome.
Here is another one for a C4S, crappy video but awesome sound.

Here is the information from their site with some audio sounds.

And here's a quick video I did of mine. It sounds better than in the video but I couldn't really go all out due to my neighbors being outside that day.

I have done 600 miles with it over the last two days on highways and mountain roads and have been able to open up a few times
You can indeed feel a difference when you step on it and pass 3,000 rpm. The acceleration feels more linear and stronger which is consistent with the dyno data provided by AWE. I did not get the exhaust with a performance increase in mind, but it is a nice bonus on top of the sound and weight.
I'll be honest and confess that it made me feel like going further and look at the GIAC tune
I am the first one to say that the 991 has enough hp to go fast, but this kind of thing is irrational by nature.
