Did not like it at all on the car but wanted to give it a try. Went back to a more simple 'Carrera S' badging, black on white 'a la GTS'. I am waiting for the rear black 'Carrera S' emblem.
I like the clean 'white wit a touch of black' 997 GTS look a lot in fact...

ReconTrojan is infamous around these parts

Good man. It looks by design that there is enough room for the factory to rise to meet the edge of the additional one...which is cool I think.

Our Caymans rose at around 75mph at what spped does your 911 rise?

Sweet! Can't wait to see pics if it's a go!

On the stock spoiler, I keep waiting for someone to put out a mod that does something about the open trunk lid look when up. I love the wider spoiler, but a rigid something vertical surface below it as it comes up would look better. Or even a 997 rubber boot thing.

That, and the cut lines were cleaner on the 997. The curved ones to allow for the oil and washer fluid(?) fills are not ideal, IMO. Of course none of this did stop me from ordering one, lol.

75 mph too and will go down if the speed drops below 50 mph I think. Too bad you do not see it in your rear view mirror, you are missing a bit of the 'drama'

SiriusXM - continued...

Still do not have Traffic working on SiriusXM. The dealership and XM kept accusing each other and now Porsche is involved.
The dealership just sent me an email saying that the issue would be software related and would plague 50% of 991's
Do not know if I have to call BS or not. They promised the issue would be resolved within a few days. I'll give it until next week.

Always fancied some sleek two-tone, especially on a white car . Here is what I mean ( it's on an M3 but you get the idea).

Not totally unlike what a white Porche looks like with some (light and discrete) Martini racing signage I actually like it but am not ready to go that far yet.

I could be wrong, but I think you can see the extra extension on the rear wing in the mirror if PASM Sport? Perhaps it is possible to enable the extension on non SPASM cars?

Sorry the experiment did not work, but I think you made the correct choice! Sorry also to hear about XM. No competition so no motive to use brains!

Not much going on for now, but a bunch of parts on order (spoiler, springs, seat belts and a few other things)
Meanwhile, continued with the B&W theme and added black Carrera S emblem at the back.

Badging looks great.

I apologize if I missed it, but did you ever figure out if the speedart spoiler is designed to rise up with the stock spoiler, or if stock needs to be disabled?

Thanks. Feedback I got on the Speedart spoiler is that it rises up with the stock spoiler. I have it on order but have been told it will take about a month to get it.

SM_ really like what you've done! Since you're the aftermarket guru, any idea if someone makes anything to protect the plastic door sills? I'm scraping mine up with my shoes as I get in and out. Thx

Thanks for the compliment but I am far from being a guru
I am not aware of door sill parts in any current tuner program for the 991 or other aftermarket solutions for now. The 991 model is still very young and there is not much choice to personalize your ride yet (even though I like to personalize but stay close to the OEM style).

The black Carrera S logo looks very nice. I was initially disappointed with my chrome silver logo but am getting used to it. Would prefer black though. Hard to remove?
