ANYONE getting discounts on the 991?

Edit: Saw this thread - https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-off-msrp.html

Would love to hear from some folks who have purchased what they got off MSRP

not much 2-5 grand if that....the hyped has been built up so much the dealers are waiting it out to see wait the Porsche community is going to do, still pull the trigger or fall back.... I sense of some big incentives coming on for next year....

I do too. I was testing the water and called Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena, and they were willing to give me 2.5%+ off of the MSRP 2 weeks ago! This dealership is notoriously the worst in terms of pricing in socal, and they were willing to cut a deal. Sign of the times I guess. The 991's are not selling well here in socal...probably because the recession hit us hard. I hope these dealerships realize that they are not selling like hot cakes so that I can get a fatter discount on a 2012.

silver1331 is infamous around these parts
The MSRP increase is huge too, making people reluctant to trade up without giving up performance. I have a Panamera 4S and will likely just trade it in for a 911S vs paying 20k more and waiting for the 9114S.
