Fester, I test drove a C4s for the entire morning and realized I did not order a C4S, and the specs looks really familiar. Ah, it is your car. They called me by mistake. .

Sorry, could resist . Hang it there, I am sure it is almost show time! Keep us posted, looking forward to the pictures.

 

Going this weekend to test drive the C4S. Mine is Blk/Blk with a build date of 15 Mar. The wait begins...

 

I am now!!!
I ordered the sport techo's and skipped the matching exterior paint inlays (yes we DO have this option available in Canada, go figure) because it would delay the build.
Instead I was going to have it done locally with platinum inlays... but now I've decides that before commiting to any color full or inlay I'm going to play around first with plasti dip and rubber coat the whole wheels in black... I love playing around with my toys!!

Looking forward to it!!

I think eveyone here who's finally going to receive their cars are going to get to that first 2000K real fast... only stopping for gas!

I have not been a big fan of the totally "murdered out" black look... the black rims alway reminded me of people who put cheap @ss winter rims on their beater cars/mini vans.
I know, I know... black Sport Techno's and the likes could never fall into that category but psychologically it's something I just couldn't come to grips with.
Until now that is!
I'm really getting into the black on black theme... but before I spend some serious $$ on rims like these ADV1 beauties I'm going to figure out how blacked out I want to go.

I'm very curious if this plasti dipping actually works... as long as I can peel it of it's all good!

Blah blah blah...whatever!! But I've gotta admit...it's a good one!!!

 

Oh.... (big sigh).... well my pneumonia is actually getting much, much better (and fast too!), so that's a good thing but (long story short) I've got a 6" long obstruction of the main artery in my left arm (they think it's a blood clot)...
Now for those MD's here on 6speed, no I'm not making it up.

Ya see, apparently having this in your arm seems to be somewhat of an anomaly (like no one has ever seen this before...) the good thing is it's near my wrist and therefore does not pose an immediate danger, also because it's so unusual it sure is getting a lot of attention from specialists (always a good thing when you want to get better ).
The bad thing is it hurts like crap, scarred the bejezus out of me and I'm starting to feel like a circus attraction.

Probably a bit more info than you where expecting but it does feel good to vent a bit.
The amazing thing is a saw a white 991 C2S drive by my place (very slowly) tonight and it instantly perked me up... yep I'm definitely a Porsche junky!
Putting my behind in my new C4S should instantly cure me!
