OK guys I wanted to share this video with you, courtesy of ae911.
The shorter non dialogue version was posted here (a few times) some time ago.
However this one has the "talking head" and it's actually a pretty good review... ahem... if understand Dutch, Germain or South Afrikaans that is.
Thank for the heads-up ae911 !
(this animation was actually made from some of the footage of this vid.)

That's exactly what I did on my last C4S and am planning to do the same this time.
The reason why I'm doing the entire rocker panel all the way to front is because I plan painting the side skirts as well and of course cover those too (did the same last time and worked awesome, no sandblasting of the paint!).
Have considered doing that (painting the side skirts)?
Oh BTW get your lip done too, it'll still scrape at the bottom but at least it stay looking good for the rest...

Fester- any word as to if the Xpel stuff is still good? Or is Prestige the most recent awesome product out?
Sorry to pick your brains guys- figured I'd ask
You know..I'm getting something very similar but the dealer recommended against lights? Any idea why? And either of you going for the doors at all? For the "too close got no choice" parking?

But now a days they can do miracles with magnets, dry ice etc. so I'm on the fence for now...
Also film doesn't react well to waxing and so far the film has always been a little less glossy than a buffet clear-coat.
Choices, choices...
Yeah I've been thinking about that (the doors and entire rear quarter panels instead of just the arches) but since you do inevitably end up getting dings... the film would have to be removed if it has to be filled and painted.

....then again we are all a bit nutty
If anyone else has had some experience on this also..please do share! It's all very much appreciated to the newbie!
I am going with Xpel Ultimate (I think that's it). On the following parts:
Hood
Front spoiler
Front fenders
Wing mirrors
I will leave the ones from the factory on the rear wheel arches because the clear bra guy said to leave them until they require to be changed.
If I am missing something please let me know.
Hope that helps.

I don't know man... for a couple of hundred bucks I'd change them to larger ones, those stock rock guards for some reason are always too small...
So originally I was a basalt black metallic c4s nut....
We go for a test drive in a guards red c4s....and in the last three months, I have NEVER seen my wife so excited about this car...and on right next to it...so I combined the two...and now I've changed my build to this...

Regarding the clear bra, I can tell you that I had two Expel Ultimates on my E92 M3, and eventually switched to Ventureshield. The guy who did the final install does the work for the Aston dealership in town (About 20 minutes NE of where the Momentum dealership is.) Not cheap, but he knows what he's about. I was very happy with his work. The only think I can think of with the lights is that they are worried about some sort of film reaction after prolonged exposure, or perhaps distortion of the beam.
