I am about to pay $60k to drive a new 991S cab for 2 years ($132k msrp)...a lot to swallow, but for the same reasons I choose to lease. I like changing cars and I don't want to be locked in for too long.

I'm also close to a deal on a S cab, 132k msrp. However, I chose 36 month lease. It seems that every dealer here is offering 55% residual.

My residual for 24 months is 63% (also doing 7.5k miles per year - it's a weekend only driver).

I was contemplating doing the 36 month lease since it's probably vastly more cost effective. What have you been able to get payments down to? I think my first quote was $2,076 (taxes up front)...and I could get it to probably $2k even.

I also picked up a 2012 GTS and got an even better deal (or better negotiating) than the OP.

I have a 09 S cab that has a residual lower than market, so I apply the difference toward cap reduction. 3% discount, and very close to buy rate for the money factor, mine is about 1800 with 8.25% tax.

How much cap reduction for the trade in? 3% discount is pretty good! I could only get $1k off here, but it's an inventory car and hard to get around here (3 other ones at different dealerships were gone in 4 days while I was looking).

OK guys, I'm looking to upgrade from my Boxster S and upon hearing all these great deals wondered which dealerships you found willing to work with you. Anything in NY or NJ would be good for me.
