Sport Plus
Sport Plus
For those of you who are still breaking in your 991, wait to you try Sport +
.
The change between Sport and Sport + is like night and day. I almost wished they made a setting that was between the two. Sport + could be a little too aggressive for DD type of duties (although is very fun).

I love the difference between normal and sport as it is. I can't wait.
How are you and the obvious spokesmodel in your Avatar enjoying it so far?
AG991-
Thanks for the comments. I am finding reasons to take the car out. Need to go the ATM, store, etc. and always take the long way around. Today, I just went out for a drive and tried the Sport +. Reminded me of the original test drive. It must be the way it is geared and the power, but it definitely snaps your head back on full throttle up shifts from a stop. I cannot imagine what the turbo will be like.
Hope you are doing well too and good luck next week on your Autox. Trust me, you need to run it in Sport + and don't be afraid of putting your foot into it.

i am more amazed each time i drive this as to how well the harder sport + PASM setting can still adapt to normal roads.
you feel it stiffen; you know it is on the harder setting, but you just don't get pounded like the earlier versions of the system.
i have only been using sport + but as i keep it in manual mode, i am shifting within the ranges of break in or warm up RPM's. i did crank her up a bit yesterday and that engine sound above 5k rpm is just amazing. i am pretty much at the end of break in so by the end of the week it will be green lights.

CPA - Wait til your break in is done and you really put your foot into it in Sport+! It's an amazing difference than Sport and any manual (non-turbo) 911 I've driven or been in.
