DE/AutoX numbers

I ordered new magnetic numbers for my first track day with my 991, but realized after I got them that the doors are aluminum and do not stick.

What do you guys use as a workaround?

I found vinyl numbers that aren't reusable, but really do not want to spend $30 for each track day. Also, not sure if they mar the paint.

Thanks!

Rich

White shoe polish on the two "back" windows. Driver and passenger windows must be down, but not the back windows.

Harvey in MD is infamous around these parts
I use reusable numbers which last about 8 events. I put them on my rear side windows. The web site is:

Another alternative is 1" wide vinyl tape rolls available in many colors. However, the yellow does stand out very well. Just cut it and put in my rear side windows. Do not use on doors as it may leave a glue residue. The web site is:

Good luck.

Thanks everyone. I found these on another post and decided to give them a try. May also look at the window area, but on the 991, it is really small.
