...
has someone an idea, is it possible to reprogram it to become the other way around instead of permanently turned on i'd rather prefer it to be permanently switched of...my PC told me it's not possible...true?

not true.....simply push the button to turn it off and it stays off.....every time you start the car its still off

ups.... obviously my mistake.... it is the standard for America... in other words it must be different set up for West Europe...

really?....I had no idea it would be different in Europe....I learned something today.....good luck with it.

Since it is different in US/Europe, on would think it has to be programmable by dealer, yes?

Possibly not, a lot of settings are not modifiable once the country code is set in the car. If the Swiss government wants the default for the stop/start to be ON then it will be set that way in the country options and can't be changed.
