I'm glad there were no serious injuries. Sad that the car was totaled but thank god nobody injured.

 

Is it just me thinking this or did the passenger cell survive rather well here ?
I mean, judging by the damage this was a little more than just a bumper bashing - this was hard. Yet the windscreen shows little, if any damage suggesting that the passenger cell is not even distorted (much).
Good publicity for Porsche I would say...

Sure the car was not equipped with PCCB (Porsche Car Control after too much Booze), but brakes do NOT fail like that. Damn, she had been driving for a while but the brakes fail precisely when she is about to his the 18-wheelers

Too bad she was in a safe P-car, otherwise 'Darwinism' may have sealed her fate... I'd rather have her crashing alone in a trailer than hitting a car carrying a family with kids. We can always hope that the passenger will sue her.

Do not take me wrong, a 991 is just a piece of metal and plastic than money can buy, but some people's -repeated- stupidity is just unbearable, especially when it puts others in danger
