Thanks for dyno result in detail. This is a great system that really gain HP and torque.

Can you show us one more test with the combination of Header with 200 cell + X pipe. Leave the 2nd muffer as standard so the it would not be too lound for DD. Thank you.

That is pretty impressive. I especially like how the curve smoothes out nicely.

So how do we improve the very top end? Have you done any testing with higher octane fuel? I'm curious if the ECU is pulling timing at the top end, or perhaps an intake restriction?

On a side note it is interesting to see how much the motor moves on the engine mounts under load on the dyno with the bumpers off. I'd like to see a similar video of a car with the dynamic engine mounts.

Thanks!

From past cars, the narrowbody and widebody Carrera exhausts are exactly the same. So I would assume this to be true for the 991. The car is back to stock right now for the owner to pickup. We will schedule time for him to come back and we can test our cold air intake and do some full sound clips driving.

Pricing for this XPipe is on our www.vividracing.com

Its 100+F here and we use 91oct. So could be at the top it just stops.

I compiled all 3 sounds into 1 here -

Do you have plans to make a version for the base carrera which does not have the extra pipe for the floating tip? Any chance on a dyno from a base carrera?

Im very excited about this exhaust option!

This is the only car we have access to right now. Could you please post a pic of the under side of your car showing the tip and exhaust?

Do we need to buy new gaskets or do the part(s) come with them or do we re-use the old gaskets? (probably a bad idea).

Amazing ! I am getting the bypass and headers installed this week and would be extremely curious to see what gain the X-pipe could bring compared to my PSE that will remain in place for now...

kcarrigan - The fitment is the same. The S has the bypass valve which puts the 3rd pipe floating behind the tip. So it looks to be identical.

We do not supply new header gaskets. Ideally you can reuse them once. They are only about $25 for the pair to the engine block.

SM_atl - please post up pics once done!

VividThank you for your detailed reporting on exhaust development. My CS is to arrive shortly. It will have PSE and I am weighing the option of using your product. Anxious to hear our member SM impressions..

I couldn't find the gaskets on the agency site, do you guys sell the them or do we have to get them from Porsche? I would prefer to use new gaskets rather than re-use the old ones. Would like to purchase a full gasket kit.

I want to keet the stock base Carrera tips, so there really isnt a place for that 3rd pipe to exhaust to (the backside of the large "oval" tip is solid). Do you see an issue with simply hacking-off of the last horizontal section of the 3rd pipe and allowing that exhaust gas to vent downwards, in front/below the stock tips?
