tgcrun, Marina Ace has left the port.

I emailed my dealer this afternoon to see if my car was on the Marina Ace, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I don't see why it would take more than 9 days for my car to get from the factory to the port, especially since rnl's car appears to have taken 6 days. I'll just assume it's on its way to Davisville unless I hear otherwise.

Mine was on the same ship, arrival 6/14 and I picked it up Thursday 6/21 from my dealer in Delaware. Depending on distance to your daeler and truck deliveries, should at the dealer! . Good luck!

Still no sign of it.....seems like I am the only one with a car on the Marguerite that does not have it....I am in Michigan though so not sure how they schedule the trucks by destination...just seems like it has been a very long time. Wish there was a way that the trucking companies could give you a tracking # so you really knew what was happening. Great to know when the ship arrives but then it goes into this giant black hole.....

My dealer emailed me today and said my car is still at the port. It seems strange, since the ship docked in Emden 9 days after my car was completed. I'm hoping he's wrong, and my car is happily cruising across the Atlantic.

I don't think he's right. there is no way your car is still at the port. as far as i know they are as blind as us, and he's just guessing w/o doing his homework. i bet he doesn't even know what's the name of the boat that just departed few days ago from Emden.

The dealers have people at the port that act as coordinators. These are the guys that keep track of exactly where the car is at the port (on vessel or going through customs). There are a lot of cars on these ships and they take a while to get off the vessel and go through customs, then get on a truck. In addition, the status is only as good as the updating the coordinator does and I'm thinking that's not first on his priority list as most of us would hope.

I just found a list of status codes online. There is no code for the car being at the port in Emden. It goes from completed and invoiced to on vessel. When my dealer said the car was at the port, maybe it was actually on the ship.

@tgcrun, i just got a call from my dealer and was told that my car is at the dealership already. i have no idea how, only explanation is that it must have been on the Neptune Ace which departed 2 days after mine was built. you might want to check if yours is on the same boat.

tachyon, I saw your other post and figured that's what happened. What a great surprise. I don't think mine made it onto that boat since it was completed on either the day the boat left or the day before. It does give me hope that it made it onto the Marina Ace, though.

I think mine made it to the boat just right before the boat departed Emden. I'm sure you'll be able to see your baby by next week

attached file is what I used to track of my boat, but it doesn't look like going anywhere near HK. do you know if it's going to stop JP then goes to HK?

thanks! from europe the boat will arrive in HK first before heading further east to Japan.

To clarify, i was told that the port is Bermerhaven. Is this the same as Emden?
