Carrara White vs White

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has seen a 991 in both Carrara White and White side by side? Any photos floating around to see the difference?

I am currently stuck on whether I take a 01/12 991 Carrara White Cab S or order a sight unseen 01/13 White Cab S. The 01/991 is still at a premium with about 7% off rrp the 01/13 will be 2% off rrp. RRP out here equates to $340K Dont really want to compromise but at the same time want the white and I am not sure if I will like the new White from what I have seen of the sample piece at the dealer.

Regards
Arthur

Go to the dealer and look at a 2012 white Cayenne, same pure white.
Its definetely whiter than Carrara white, Carrara has a slight grey hint in it, the new white is cooler with a blueish hint.

My guess is that it will look good in a small sports car like the 911, but IMO its too much in big SUV such as the Cayenne.

We have both and frankly, it's not too noticeable. It is true that Carrara White is not as White.

You wouldn't have a photo of the two side by side by any chance that you wouldn't mind sharing?

Galion

I have seen a cayenne in that colour but the cars wear the colour differently.
It does have more of a blue tinge to it, its cooler than Carrara.
