Ditto on others' comments - car looks great, especially with the whale tail. Enjoy!

Great looking cab, congrats!! Quick question, are the seatbacks painted in the exterior color? If so, what option is this?

These are the 18 way adaptive sports seats plus, and are silver backed, which does look like the platinum silver exterior...not sure if its identical but I can't see a difference.

I was told my dealer that having the seatback's painted is an option they have access to that is not part of the configurator. I don't remember the exact cost (somewhere in the $1800.00 - $3,000.00 range). I thought it was expensive, especially since it will not be recognized at resale. Also, I have 2 small kids that will be back there once in a while (with there shoes off) and the standard silver backing is more durable.

That platinum silver looks great in real life. I didnt know you could order the seatbacks in the exterior color, but if that is really the price of 2k+ then im glad i didnt. I plan on having the body shop paint them and im sure that it will be less than 2k for the job

If you get the car in Platinum Silver, and the sports seat plus, and you liked this look- you wont need to paint them .
