Apart from the good price, make sure you really like that car and that spec. I wouldn't compromise on how you feel about it. In short, if it feels good... Get it! No regrets later.

FWIW, I think the car has all the must have options and think you're going to love it! The power steering plus is IMO a no no anyway.
My thoughts also. 10% off is the minimum I would expect on a 2012 now that the 2013's are out.

Based on that, I wonder what the "real" discount on the 2012 car is working out at. Assume 5% depreciation over the depreciation of a 2013 car then in reality you're getting a 5% discount on the car. I'm not sure if that's the way to calculate it... If so, based on my frequecy of changing vehicles I would order a 2013.

In either case it boils down to your gut!

I think buyer should start the conversation at 15% off, and meet somewhere in the middle.

It looks like a "launch car" that the dealer wasn't able to sell. It is a good deal, if you like it then definately buy it.

You can get dealer costs from Consumer Reports for $14 per car or subscribe to CR online for a full year with the optional full year dealer invoices. The one year subscription with the option to get prices on as many cars as you want is the best deal if you haven't made up your mind on a car or if the prices change.

CR is only showing the prices on the 2012 and the 2013 now but I don't think Porsche changed prices from 2012 to 2013. At least they did not on my car. However the dealer may be getting an incentive on the older 2012 cars in inventory.

Call at 1-800-888-8275 to order

My dealer showed me the invoice prices before I bought.
