Finally!
Finally!
I have been posting and following this forum for over a year while saving some extra $$ and test driving various 991 configurations.
I finally placed my order after lots of thoughts about the options. My goal was a 991 that is more of a pure sports car. Not a lot of extra options to save $$ and weight as the driving experience is what I am after.
Here is my final build:
911 Carrera S
Platinum Silver Metallic
Black leather front seats
Sport Chrono Package
Sport Exhaust System
PASM Sport Suspension
7-speed Manual Transmission
20-inch Carrera Classic wheel
Seat heating (front)
Automatically dimming mirrors
Smoking package
Sport Seats Plus
SportDesign steering wheel
Did I get it right?

Hey Dean -congrats awesome build. We picked pretty much the same options the only thing you should really consider is PSE one of my favorite options.

Thanks TOPorschefan,
PSE is in the build. It was my number one option! Are you enjoying the 7 speed manual?

Hey Dean-you are correct I was so focused on PSE but I see you have sports exhaust! With regards to the 7spd looooveee it! I can recognize the passion regarding the PDK as I recently drove a loaner with this set up. However I always look forward to jumping in to the 7spd manual. There is a distinct difference between the connectivity of a manual and a PDK. Both can be involving but I love shifting through the gears. If its going to be a car driven in traffic or the track likely PDK is the way to go. For anything else I definitely love the manual. PSE + manual is pretty hard to beat. Now the wait which is the hardest part......after that the break in period
. It will be all worth it!

Thank you everyone for your great comments. Yes, now the wait begins, i'Ll have to spend my time researching something else!
Braindoc1, I decided not to go with PDCC to cut back on weight and $$. i don't mind a bit of body lean, maybe it will keep me out of trouble!

nice build. I went for the rear wheel/manual combo this time around. I went out again last night and am getting more confident turning off the nanny and getting some rear slide going. It's really fun. All these cars are great no matter what we get. Tuesday have appointment to put on some Vossen CV3's and a ProClip iPhone 5 mount, will be using the OEM wheels for winter tires. Again congrats and you'll love it.
