Rear reflectors

I changed the rear reflectors out to painted ones, I think it makes the rear look a little wider, what do you think?

To be honest I haven't checked if it's legal

I just think that when I look at the car now my eyes are focusing more on the taillights and therefore it makes the car look wider, all that lipstick on the back is to noisy for me

I think the rear reflector thing is a Euro requirement. Euro cars have had it for some time now, and maybe Porsche is just making one bumper for all. I like it painted!!!!

Seems like I've seen pics of a white 991 in that driveway?

I like the painted reflectors, did not know that was an option to modify. I have the same color.

I've seen it on lighter cars (Serge) and although it looks nice and clean without the red reflector I wouldn't say it makes it look "wider"...
Hence I really didn't think that it would/ could make the rear look wider but on a dark 911...but actually believe you're right!

I always thought that Serge's 991 looked wider then others and I couldn't figure why, until I installed these on my car yesterday. I know it's just an illusion but when I look at the car now my eyes are more focused on the outer taillights rather then center of back.

Imagine what it would do to your C4S Cab - that already because of the lower roof line, looks wider then coupe C4S. Before my 997 TT I had a 997 C4S Cab which I named J-Lo

To really be J-Lo wouldn't you also need the rear apron painted the body color, especially in lighter shades?
