Anyone went from 997.1 PASM to 991 SPASM?

Hi!

I looked the whole internet and all Porsche sites but it seems that this question is still not clearly answered:

Is the PASM of 997.1 nearly the same as 991 with SPASM suspension?

About 7 years ago I had a 997.1 with PASM suspension only and the ride quality was right fine for me in standard setting ... in sport setting the ride was much (!) too rough .... really jumping above potholes .. not really useful in sport mode.

Now I hope that someone is telling me that the more comfortable 991 is with SPASM close to 997.1 PASM ..... pleaaaase

I have no chance to test it .... my Porsche dealer tells me that they do not have SPASM cars as demonstrators .... to difficult to sell after 3 months

I had an 05 997 with PASM and a 12 equipped 991S with SPASM & PDCC now. Sounds like you already made up your mind not to get SPASM. That's cool.

Whatev'. No comparison. PASM on the 997 in 05 was very jittery on some surfaces. Haven't found that yet with PDCC and SPASM. Moreover PDCC and SPASM appear to communicate with the road better than the old PASM, which is contrary to the reviews I've read from writers, who spent a 1/2 or a full day with the 991.
