Nine XI,
PM sent. These guys came very highly recommended by a couple of serious car friends of mine. I like that they wrap around the edges so there are no visible edges.

Owner of the business is personally doing this job and he is a long time Porsche owner and fan, so I had no problems having him take apart the car to do a thorough job.

Why are the seats removed?
Seats removed so that the seat backs and side skirts could be wrapped in 3M dinoc carbon fiber film.

Darren, thanks for sharing your experience and I would agree with the money being committed to your business. The toy is waiting

Cannot wait to see the completed article, especially the seat backs.

ae911,
I got an email from the owner of ACAP Films at 530am this morning, his time, saying that he had worked through the weekend and last night to make sure the car was perfect and everything ready to have the car shipped back to my dealer today. He was going home for a shower and breakfast before coming back to the shop to send me pics of the final install.

Now, in my books, that is one business that is worth supporting. A company where they take immense pride in the quality of their work and go above and beyond to deliver the best product and service to their clients is rare these days and deserves as much support as they can from their customers.

Hawkman is infamous around these parts
Excellent Job! I've never used this treatment before (films) - what's the life expectancy? I'd hate to go to the expense and then have it start peeling off after say 5 quiet years use?
Also love the carbon fiber look seats - assume that's glued on? Giving me ideas!

From what I hear, life expectancy of the new clear films is 10 yrs or more, with the interior stuff probably lasting longer? I am new to this so I am probably not the best person to ask.
