Does the Sport Button do anything "sporty" when paired with the manual transmission of a base Carrera 2 (with none of the extra performance options like SportChrono, PSE, etc)?

So far, all I can find in the manual is that it:
* Disables the Auto Start-Stop
* Disables the "dummy" upshift light

 

It remaps the throttle slightly for quicker response, and pipes in more intake noise. As far as I know that's it. I like both so always switch it on.

 

I can't tell the difference.... Also, the Sport+ just firms up the suspension and turns on the sport exhaust which I can do without the Sport+ button IMHO......

 

Base cars as the OP spoke of do not have Sport+, adjustable suspension, or sport exhaust. On no option cars, it only does what I stated.
