Maxspeed Motorsports sells a 7mm spacer if that is helpful.

I'm in awe of you guys with the car seat delimma, lol. I couldn't afford to get into a Turbo until well after they were out of a car seat!

EDIT: I don't know if the specs are different for a 991.

I would most definitely have to wait that long as well if I was going to buy a Turbo, especially the new 991 turbo!! I would love a turbo, but I am just not patient enough to wait that long.

I'll also add that as supportive as my wife is, spending anything over 100k for a car is crazy to her. She was pretty good about this car but over 150k is not something she would easily agree to so I'm taking what I can when I can.

In my house, it's better to beg for forgiveness than ask permission! . My wife and I both operate under that maxim.

I now anticipate spending another 2 991 Porsche on 1.5 more undergraduate school tuition and law school tuition.

....while I was always eligible for toys something always seemed to crop up so I figured that I would pull the trigger as come May 2013, I'm only paying for one in college and not two.
OK...I'm scared now and having second thoughts...please no more posts like this

Yep I can relate. My son already loves jumping and being thrown in the air, so he will likely love riding in the 991 when he is a bit older.

My daughter comes home from college and the first thing she says is "let's go for a ride where's my key?" We go for a ride and she drives

That is fantastic! What a great way to spend time with your kids See just 1 more reason to love Porsche. In addition to being an amazing automobile it's also creating endless opportunity for a lifetime of special moments like these that might otherwise be missed.

Very cool stuff rnl and co997! I'm not sure who is more excited about the c2 cab coming, me or my 3 year old daughter....the expression about feeling like a little kid again doubles up when you get to enjoy it through and with your kids. Just found out we have a son on the way this spring....lots to look forward to in 2013!

Had occasion to have service performed on our Prius. I do routine stuff myself and the was the first time it had been back to the dealer. The experience was completely different from that at the Porsche store. The service "consultant" tried to sell needless services, explained nothing and didn't seem to understand what he was doing. He exhibited no knowledge of the car.

Congrats on your new son on the way! You really will have a big spring. So you will be in the same boat as me trying out rear facing car seats. That back seat is so narrow, I'm afraid it's going to be tough to find one that will fit properly.

Just went outside to get some after pics. Not the best, but from the before and after, you can see a small difference in how the wheels fill out the wheel well.

BEFORE

AFTER
I see some kind of Laser diffuser. What did you get and how do you like it?

DetroitShooter,
It's an Escort 9500ci. Have had it about a month now and it has saved me on a bunch of occasions already.

The trick is to get her to go for the car that cost more than yours
