Xmas toys
Maxspeed Motorsports sells a 7mm spacer if that is helpful.
I'm in awe of you guys with the car seat delimma, lol. I couldn't afford to get into a Turbo until well after they were out of a car seat!
EDIT: I don't know if the specs are different for a 991.

I'll also add that as supportive as my wife is, spending anything over 100k for a car is crazy to her. She was pretty good about this car but over 150k is not something she would easily agree to so I'm taking what I can when I can.
I would most definitely have to wait that long as well if I was going to buy a Turbo, especially the new 991 turbo!! I would love a turbo, but I am just not patient enough to wait that long.

. My wife and I both operate under that maxim.
"future toy eligible"

this was my first toy....my previous toys (about 3.5 991 Porsche worth of toy) has been spent on one two children: undergraduate tuitions (tuition meaning, tuition, books, food, transportation, lodging, clothing), one graduate school tuition, 2.5 years of undergraduate school tuition.
I now anticipate spending another 2 991 Porsche on 1.5 more undergraduate school tuition and law school tuition.
....while I was always eligible for toys something always seemed to crop up so I figured that I would pull the trigger as come May 2013, I'm only paying for one in college and not two.

This December has been the worst I have ever experienced at work and I have a 5 month old son who is just amazing. So we seem to have the same distractions! I ordered a cab and can't wait to put him and my 5 year old daughter in the back and drop the top. In fact I took my daughter on all my test drives and she just yells "this is AWESOME" while we are driving.
So I can wait for this car to finally arrive!

See just 1 more reason to love Porsche. In addition to being an amazing automobile it's also creating endless opportunity for a lifetime of special moments like these that might otherwise be missed.

Had occasion to have service performed on our Prius. I do routine stuff myself and the was the first time it had been back to the dealer. The experience was completely different from that at the Porsche store. The service "consultant" tried to sell needless services, explained nothing and didn't seem to understand what he was doing. He exhibited no knowledge of the car.
Very cool stuff rnl and co997! I'm not sure who is more excited about the c2 cab coming, me or my 3 year old daughter....the expression about feeling like a little kid again doubles up when you get to enjoy it through and with your kids. Just found out we have a son on the way this spring....lots to look forward to in 2013!
I went with factory 5mm as I could not find anything under 14mm that was non-factory. If i could, I would do 5mm front and 10mm rear.
Just went outside to get some after pics. Not the best, but from the before and after, you can see a small difference in how the wheels fill out the wheel well.

Doesn't work for everybody but for just a few lucky ones
...and I'm not one of them
