Things I not sure about exterior color , cabriolet top color

was thinking
1) red interior and white exterior with red top or black top
2)red interior and black exterior with black top

i tried the configurator but I not sure it will look like that in real life

but with 3d simulation i was , thinking, white with red interior an black top

Any suggestions or experience from folks who went this route?

 

I have seen a white base cab with red interior and black top at the dealer here in Vancouver. Looks good but I think would look better with red top. My 991S X51 Cab order is white/red/red. Production on January 23rd.

Before making any final decision, why not just go to the dealer and take a look at all this different combo in person? I wouldn't go by configurator for anything other than picking out options so you are more knowledgeable about the details. Dealer often try to upsell as they enter your specs into their system. The color can be quite off pending on monitors, and you are looking at the car at a fraction of the scale. Red roof on black might look fantastic at 1.43 scale, that visual impact will be very different in person and at actual size. Just a thought.

 

If you havent already, try to see the red top in person.....I really like the red top in pics but when I finally saw it in person it just didnt look as good to me.

Black top for me, the red top takes away too much attention from the car.

 

Color of top on cab should match either the interior or the exterior.

Otherwise when the top is down it doesn't look right in my view.
