Rear park assist.

If you only have the rear park assist and not the front, do you still get the graphical representation on the display? I wanted the front bumper without the sensors.

I know all cabs come with the rear only sensors and you do not get the display only a beeping sound (like a creaming smurf going no....no...no..no.nonoooooo!).

I like the graphics too and find that very helpful. I have some tight parking spots. The front sensors work quite OK and sometimes I am impressed with them. Certain kind of obstacles are more difficult. Anything that absorbs or scatters ultrasound is problematic but you soon learn when you can trust the display and when it is better to ask the wife to get out and guide you .

Seems a bit stingy. To get the rear system you pay most of the cost of getting the front and rear, but no display. Oh well, I would rather not have the sensors in the front than get the display.

I can confirm that there is no display if you get rear sensors only.

I have the rear sensors. They beep in a very low volume tone, you can barely hear them if you have the music on.

The problem with sensors in general is that they do not pick up things low down like kerbs. That being the case only the rear are some what useful as it is hard to turn your neck back. But I have no trouble just using my eyes for the front.

you can wait for the rear-camera instead of the rear only sensors when your neck hurts.

The warning tone can be adjusted. I find the front and rear sensors very useful especially when pulling into our garage.

I suspected it was possible to adjust the beep tone volume but never felt motivated enough to figure out how to do it. But now that you have confirmed it is possible, I will play with the pcm and raise the volume.

Oh no not again!!!

What I mean is that the cab comes stock with back-up sensors (no additional charge) you can still select the option with the display and front + rear censors but that option costs a very, very reasonable $440,- for the cab and for the coupe (are you sitting down...) a very unreasonable "rear only" $700,- or front & rear with display a whopping $1130,-

So on the cab the $700,- coupe option is for "free" and for the $1130,- coupe option cost $440,- on the cab...
Granted this is on the Canadian configurator... however I imagine the same must be true for the the US (with 20% difference in price point).

the volume for parking sensors is one of my biggest gripes. i have already adjusted it to the loudest setting and even so, it is still barely audible if the stereo is on. there needs to be a feature where if the car is in reverse and the sensors beeping; it lowers the radio volume so they become heard.

Could you save me some time? I spent a few minutes playing with the pcm trying to raise the parking sensor volume, but have not found the right place. Where do I have to go to adjust this volume?

Even my Ford does this. Though it is annoying when you are on the phone using bluetooth and it beeps so loud that the person you are talking with can hear it and it cuts them out as well.
