I'm one of the guys that originally made the "Panda" comment. Guess I stuck my foot in my mouth. Seeing real photos, I was wrong. I like the lights, especially with the glass roof. Also love the red interior. Black wheels are going to look incredible. CONGRATS!! Beautiful Car!!

 

I think those were factory painted. I know Porsche used to offer the painted black option along with the platinum... I think they stopped the black option back in November. I remember my first 991 online built had that option, then later when I ordered in early Dec, the option was gone. The price was the same as Platinum. I think you can do this aftermarket and would cost less and about the same quality.

 

Sure, it's Jack Daniels in Ramsey, NJ. Good people, they honored my order from Dec, even with the price increased. My discount was close to 10% due to they had to eat the price difference

However, that particular GT3 had a sold sign. Though, I think they have a couple (or used to) more in the showroom, there was a white and pink'ish GT3. Give them a call, good luck!

It's Porsche's option, black PDLS. It's not painted. The outside where it's dark grey, it's black instead... and the chrome pieces inside, they are black metalic. I wanted the black & white look.

^^^ BTW, I saw a post here somewhere about where to put the EZ Pass, well, can you spot mine? I always just stick it right behind the windshield registration sticker... same size, hiden, something has to be there anyway. I have no issue going through the tolls.

 

I don't think his wheels are dark matte. They are the factory platinum painted wheels.
