Love keeping both hands on the wheel...paddle shifters.
Never thought I would want a sports cars without MT.
I don't miss rolling down the windows either.

Haven't bought a PORSCHE since selling my GT3. Haven't bought a Ferrari since I got the 458 spider. Bought a manual M4 and a manual Z06 and a manual Challenger Hellcat since.

I think I will buy a used 430 spider manual when I can find one. And maybe a 2007 RS which I now regret selling.

I have my auto X5M which is great, but for my sports cars, I want three pedals. 😃 PDK equivalents are not for me in sports cars.

I have a 2013 Carrera with 7MT with no regrets. I went and drove an S with PDK and was not that keen on it. My car gets driven only on the weekends. If it were a DD, I could justify the PDK. For me, I prefer the involvement that the 7MT affords me.

Agree 100+%. And I'll tell ya what's nuts. I've had my nicely optioned 2013 911S for a about a year and a half now, had 3K now has 11K miles. For the heck of it, in 7th gear on the highway doing like 75-80, I reset the 'CAR' data. After 30 minutes I was getting 32.9 mpg. So I ask, why the 3.0 turbo in the 'new' 911's??????

Like some others, for me the choice between a PDK and an MT comes down to how you are going to use the car. The PDK is a fantastic transmission. However, for me the MT is more engaging and fun. It works for me because my sports cars are not daily drivers. My office is 10 minutes from my house, so on those days when I want to take a car home for a few days, the use of an MT is not an issue. Guaranteed that if I had to commute into the big city regularly, and my car was a daily driver, that I would opt for the PDK.
