I just ordered a 991S in the Bay Area (Redwood City area) in Platinum Silver. Then I saw Fester's photos of his GT Silver and fell in love (at least with the online photos - https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...hotoshoot.html).

I'm seriously considering changing to GT Silver, but given the $2500 would love to see it in person before I lock it in. No dealers seem to have it in stock. Any thoughts on where/how I can see it in person?

 

I'm in Bay Area too but around Cupertino. We can meet up or alternatively, you can go visit Porsche of fremont - these guys only order GT silver unless they have transfers from others/customers orders...at least that's what I was told. Call them up first ...cheers!!

We have GT Silver but not on a 991 here in Fremont. If you want to see the color stop by.

Ended up seeing the GT Silver next to Platinum Silver at Porsche Fremont. No way i could tell the difference looking at each one on its own; but when i saw them side by side it was clear. the Platinum had a lime-green tint to it, whereas the GT was a deeper (greyer) silver. I opted for the GT ultimately, despite the price difference.
