Congrats on your new ride!

I've ordered my white cab from Fremont as well (should have it in a couple months)... we might pass each other on the 101 :-)

Congrats! Very nice car! I almost ordered mine from Porsche of Fremont as well but ended up with another dealer due to timing issues. Raj is a very nice guy to deal with.

Still waiting for my 911S to arrive mid March...

Congrats on your new ride! Are you getting the clear or satin clear bra at premier? Satin looks good on white!

Thanks guys, look forward to seeing you on the roads!

@tonyep I don't think I'm brave enough for satin, have you seen the white satin look in person? There's a black satin GT-R at my work that looks amazing, but I've only ever seen it on dark cars.

I did. It's not as dull as matte nor as shiny as glossy. It has a slight different look under sunlight and when not. Try asking premier how it turns out on white.

Thanks for the tip Tony, I'll look into and and see how the wife feels (that may be the biggest issue). =)

@CalGuy, I don't have enough posts to reply to your PM, but it sounds like we're actually in the same neighborhood! I think I remember seeing a post about a local coffee & cars by safeway last summer, I wasn't able to attend, but would be interested if it re-kindles.

I picked it up on Wednesday from Porsche of Fremont (really great group of people there), been enjoying the heck out of it as my DD in the gorgeous February NorCal sun. Oh, and this is my first non-Toyota vehicle, so it's a bit of an upgrade ;-)

Pic attached, yes I need to clean the garage out a teeny bit more. =)
Again, thank you for being an awesome community, you guys are the best!

Congrats to another bay area 991 owner! Maybe we will cross path on the freeway

Congrats on the purchase!

We just picked up a great deal from Raj at Fremont on a black on black S cab a few days ago. Definitely our preferred Porsche dealership in the Bay Area and both Raj and Dave were great to work with.

Anyway, give us a wave if you pass us by!

Dropped it off at Premier this morning, really nice shop there. I was able to see the satin in person while there (on a bugatti veyron super sport), it looked really good but all their inventory was spoken for already. I didn't want to delay any further, already had several rock chips after only 2.5 days of driving =(, so went with a full clearguardx wrap. Interestingly, it turns out that it's best not to do paint touch-ups before the wrap, they said better to do it after wrap is complete. Should be getting it back by Thursday, will post some photos of the wrap and 9500ci.
