Brake squeal @ 2800 miles?

I recently noticed some light brake squeal when coming to a slow crawl or a stoplight. It's not very high pitched but noticeable enough to hear with windows up and radio off. I have just over 2800 miles on her and live in an area that sees very little snow, if none at all. The rotor faces seems to look ok with no visible signs of wear or rust. I haven't looked at the pads yet. Is this normal at such low mileage? Does Porsche use highly metallic pads? Never had this problem on e92 m3 until I willingly changed out stock for ferodo race pads and came to accept the metallic squeal from them. Never tracked my 911 either and have been just daily driving it since getting it in November. Any input would be much appreciated.

Go out and drive/brake hard, should work in and pretty much stop. This is typical, nothing wrong.

Ok so if I do that it should stop permanently? Just never had a car that squealed from the stock brakes so early. I guess its another excuse to drive it hard Thanks for your advice guys

I saw this in another thread regarding the same issues. You shouldn't be too concerned. Now, if you are not stopping, you should BE concerned. It's ok that they squeak, it will go away eventually. Follow these steps on this link to break in new brakes.
E-How: Breaking in Brakes

PS: I am no expert, but I have a yellow belt in Google Fu.

Quite normal and nothing to worry about. Mine occasionally does the same.

There is a recall to replace the break pads. Not sure if squeaking is the reason, but the recall is out there. My car was built in Late July 2012. It is a 2013. I took delivery in Mid September and my car is part of the recall. Haven't taken it in yet.
