Car has been sitting for 3 months.. Fuel additives?
Hello all,
So my 911 had a small accident, but the repair process has taken forever. The repair shop is legally not allowed to put any gasoline additives to keep the gas from going bad as they are only allowed to use Porsche OEM parts, and I have been unable to go to the repair shop myself to add it as it is a couple hours away (not many 991 repair certified shops out there).
I am finally going to make it down to the repair shop, and am wondering what fuel additive I should put in the car (the last fill up was in mid December, with crappy 91 octane ethanol blend from Chevron - currently there is half a tank in there). When I get the car back should I fill up the other half with 100 octane from this nearby racing gas station?
Thanks in advance
