I know I've said it before, but IMHO the X51 upgrade is one of the best deals on a true performance upgrade for your Porsche engine. Irregardless of the new GT3. YMMV.

The X51 is an incredible addition to a factory spec car . The owner will never see a dime of it when he goes to sell the car though so he better enjoy it enough to keep the car .

The positive note with the X51 is that unlike tuner modifications Porsche road tests the X51 in all types of conditions and when they claim HP numbers they are taken from real driving applications instead of a dyno or lab .

As for price .. it's expensive !! It isn't a value option to add but it is an exclusive one where the daily driver 911 gets a OEM tweak .

Personally - i would rather just get a Turbo if spending another 20K on a 991S .
