He is in a Britax Marathon. It really doesn't fit rear facing but does fit forward facing. However to make it fit more snug, I removed the tilting base. It's really easy to do, took about 3 minutes. Stats: he is about 23lbs, 27 inches. He sits in a more uprit position then in our SUV, but he seems to prefer it, so far so good. I'm trying to take l,it's of trips in it to convince it we can take this car in a couple weeks down to NC for a few days of cabin, fishing, and mountain driving! Inlaws are coming as well to help the kids so having the car there would be fantastic. An added bonus would be that the drive will eat up my breakin period!!

I have looked everywhere for a rear facing seat that will fitt with no luck. However I was reading the 991 manual yesterday and it said to NOT put a rear facing seat in the back seats. It said if you wanted to use rear facing that you had to put it in the front passenger seat. My wife wasn't overly thrilled with the idea of sitting in the back seat so that's kinda out for us. I know it's recommended to keep them Rear facing as long as possible, and in our SUV he is still rear facing but it's just not possible in the 991 from the information I have found so far. Interesting observation, could be because the kids were in the car but almost every compliment I got this weekend was from a woman. Guys would nod or wave but the women would actually roll their windows down and say how much the liked it. I don't remember that in my 997, and I was a lot younger and better looking back then
! More I think about it, must have been cause of the kids!!
I have one way ticket on 3/23 from EWR to Cleveland. They are picking me up from the airport around 8:30am. Then I assume I will get the tour, sign some paperwork and go over the car. Then the best part of the day! I will have a 7 hour drive home and will only have 1400 miles before I hit that button that says "Sports Plus!" I can't wait!

Great pictures! I think I've copied you... I ordered the same color combo and my kids are about the same age as well! ;-)
(still a while before I can post my pictures.. just finished all my paperwork last Frida and picking up in Stuttgart @ April 22th.. so won't be in arriving at the west coast until end of June...)
