Picked up 2013 C4S last night
After 1000 miles in 2 weeks, I wanted to update this thread with some more pics and my review/comments on this car so far.
I could not be happier with my purchase. The 991 improvements over the 997 have made this a car I can (and do most days) daily drive. My wife and I took the car to Boston for Easter weekend and between bad roads, torrential rain, bad drivers, etc. I was blown away by the car. I recall a previous trip to Boston in my 997 TT in which my wife claimed "I'm not sure I could do that again, my head is killing me". At the time I just got the 997 TT so I was blinded by love, but after a little which the noise did affect the amount of time I drove the car. On the way home from Boston it rained really bad on the Hutch/Merritt (for those who know) and my wife was driving. The car was so composed and didn't miss a beat.
Some thoughts by category:
1) PDK - simply amazing. I think it's reading my mind. I was (and am) and true manual guy, and totally agree and respect the manual purchases, however living in NY/NJ I went PDK so I would drive it more as traffic can make a manual tough to drive and not enjoyable IMO.
2) PSE - love it!! especially the ability to turn it on and off. Was on HWY with wife, she was on an important call, simply turn it off and nice and quiet. Love the rasp and cracking when lifting.
3) Bose - some might recall I was deciding between a car with PDCC/Bose or Burmester/no PDCC. Went with PDCC/Bose combo. So happy I did as the Bose is fine for me. Is it amazing no. But the car is amazing so the Bose is amazing. I actually think its pretty good. But I listen to XM/Sirius and compressed music and rather wind the car to redline than listen to a concert. Blutetooth streaming is very cool.
4) PDCC - didn't think it was possible for a car to be so composed and flat in a high speed turn. Probably not a must have, but nice to have and I can tell the difference for sure in a turn.
5) Steering feel - much less nervous than the 997 and I really like it. I recall the wheel being all over the place in the 997 but this car is totally composed. I know the electric steering takes a lot of heat, but I like the feel and feedback. No complaints here.
6) Suspension - simply amazing. Car rides great. Not to firm, very compliant and even with the bad roads, the ride is very good. Usually leave in normal suspension mode. Seems to work best in my area/roads.
I could sit here all day and write accolades about this car. I am so happy I made the move and so far the only regret is not getting more miles with the lease!!

What"s the big deal with putting on extra milage? It's only 30 cents/mile (like the rate for a Honda Accord). Think about it. Figure out approximately how much you're paying per mile now!!!
Putting on an extra 10K miles, for example, will only cost you $3,000-- dirt cheap for a supercar. The cheapest miles ever (think of it this way: to extrapolate, it's like putting 100K miles on a Porsche for ONLY $30,000 dollars!). It's almost highway robbery and a major oversight on their part. They're giving those extra miles away on a $130K+ car for virtually nothing. So don't worry about it.

No exhaust. Much less insulation. Interior noise, tire slap, etc much louder on 997.

Not an option for 991 yet. Aftermarket only AFIK. PM me for details as you are in NJ.
