is the 991 MT cable operated?

Was wondering how different is the 991's MT assembly from the 997's
I can imagine it is still cable operated but people say the 991 shares some parts with the PDK assembly. Anyone knows of any blueprints that we could take a look at or any info etc?

The Porsche Service Information Book (2012 Technik Introduction) says "The transmission is essentially derived from the PDK" with 3rd and 7th gears being slightly different ratios than the PDK. Further states "Shifting is performed via two cable mechanisms."

This publication sets out everything mechanical/electrical/technical change from the 997 to the 991.

Yep, one for selection and one for shifting. There are lots of drawings in the tech book which is available from World Impex.
