Picked up my new car today--WOW!!! Crazy lease..lol
I've been waiting for forum member to go on a round-the-world trip in their Porsche, and now hockeyguy4u you have no excuse to not be the one.
you really feel it will be worth 22k less per year for first 2 years? i never understood leasing because youre just tossing money in trash.. buy it right and 3-4 years later it's worth 25k less than what you paid.. versus leasing based off full MSRP imo.
The residual is based on MSRP, however.
If you can purchase a $120K 911 and sell it 3 or 4 years from now for $95K, that's amazing!
Actually, this lease is really like saying you buy the car for 110k, but at the end of only 2 years you really think it is not worth more than 75k. Check the current price of 2011 c2s cabs and then consider that they are the prior model. I think Porsche knows what they are doing.

You are right. Porsche comes out way ahead. The only way that it works more "even" for the one who leases is you put a ton of miles on it. Take the $6000 penalty for an extra 20K miles. So you spend a total of $50K over 2 years but put on 40K++ miles. Those second 20K miles are dirt cheap to you, but cost Porsche a lot in resale value. It's much harder to sell a Porsche with 40K miles at a very high price.
