991S Caliper colour

Yes, I know they're red. Trying to find out exactly what Red so I can paint wheels to match the colour. I'm wondering if it's Guards red but the paint people don't think so.

I don't think it is Guards red, specifically. I'm sure it is close though.

I would assume that these are the stock Brembo red... whatever that is. Maybe you can find the Brembo color code?

Good thinking. That is a pet peeve of mine to have the colors not matching. Like yellow wheels painted by porsche with pccb don't match at all. Pccb yellow is not speed yellow, so I would assume the non pccb red is not guards red. I would agree with above, most likely brembo red. I would not take any chances and would call porsche themselves, or brembo (probably easier to get ahold of) and ask them.

PLEASE post pics of the red wheels. I love red wheels. Are you painting the OEM ones?

I have emailed Brembo.

Yes, I have Sports Techno wheels and I'm planning to paint them as they would have come from the factory. Car is not Red but rather White with red convertible top and red leather interior.

So far I have not been able to post any pictures of the car so doubt I can do the wheels. This probably won't get done until Summer now.
