19" wheels for C2S for track days???

I had te37 in grey finish on my 997s. Great wheels but with one annoying issue. They lose wheel weights especially when they get hot and high speed. I even tried to use the high temp aluminum tape to keep them from falling off. The issue stems from the fact that the inside of the wheel barrel is not level and at high speed the weights start to shift and fall off. Not sure if it is still an issue.

I put the 19in OZ Ultraleggera's on this weekend. I was a bit concerned about clearance with the control arm and my 380mm brembo kit but they fit with ~2mm to spare.

I'm happy with the turn out but the gap in the wheelwell is pretty bad. I'm excited to see how the r888s perform next weekend at Thunderhill.

Some springs will fix the gap in a hurry.

But 305/30/19 exists. They match 245/35/19 fronts from a diameter ratio perspective.

You would actually want to run a 245/40/19 if you want to stick to the OEM ratios.

Understood regarding rolling diameter. But there is a reason why Porsche n spec tires by Pirelli and Michelin are endorsed by P in 245/35 and 305/30 in 19s. IMHO.

Since when did they release a N spec for the 991??? Those sizes are for 997 cars?? Only Pirelli have a N spec tire for the 991 from my understanding.

Don't buy into the N spec hype, mostly marketing IMO.

I thought it was just marketing but the n tire specs are different in terms of weight, thread depth and thread width as per tirerack spec table

I think you answered your questions? But Pirelli offers Corsa and Trofeo R (tough to get latter). It appears the Michelin Pilot Sport Cups will be mounted on the 991 GT3.

Anyways....
