On advice of salesman I've driven with and wthout PSP and without felt just right for me. Didn't have any problems on low speeds, turning the steeringwheel so no need for PSP.

To the OP - I wouldn't recommend it.
Unless you have back or shoulder problems, it is a useless option.

I did a search of this forum and found more negative than positive comments so I also deleted it from my build.

It's a common thought. Even my salesman was convinced that I should need the PSP. But I proved to be a strong, young little girl LOL

DKC is infamous around these parts
I test drove one with PSP and at low speed it was so light it feels like a Lexus. Seriously could steer it with 1 or 2 fingers. Went without and very happy with the steering, not too heavy for parking for my 42kg wife either.

I have it and...i love it. Expecially in parking lots, narrow streets and so on. NOT noticeable when driving over 30 KM\H.

anyone has driven them both?

Also, I did look at sport design steering wheel vs multifunction steering wheel, the sport design wheel was actually thinner than the multifunction one !!!
Yes for power steering plus
No for multifunction

I have both and multifunction is useless. 997.2 was much better as you could control the central console.

No for power steering

Yes for multifunction

Ps is just a low speed booster. The car already has ps. Unless you are repeatedly parallel parking forget it
Multifunction is nice. I use it all the time. If you are only racing then get the racing steering wheel.
