Thank you all for the kind messages
About to have a nice long road trip today, to run in the engine a bit more. I love driving in manual mode, and using the stick to shift up and down. Problem is, its exactly the opposite way of my old Z4 which also had a dual clutch auto. Up is down and down is up kinda thing. So far it has happened 3x that I shifted the wrong way, and that the revs shot up above 4k RPM for a second
I asked my dealer about how to run in the car, he said as long as the engine is hot, you can drive it how ever you want, no running in required. It is not something I am going to do though... at least 1000km driving it easy with variable revs, then slowly drive it faster from there on.
One option I found out that I forgot to spec is the 'online services' feature for 210 bucks... it adds a lot of cool features to do the PCM if you have a smartphone. After looking online I don't think it can be retrofitted.

Enjoy it!! mine arrived today at dealer, but I won't get it until tuesday! can't freaking wait!
Looked in one picture like the car was watching tv.
great looking car. Make sure you are moving around the tach in revs for the first 2000 miles or so - don't let it sit at one rpm level for too long (you don't have to change it e Rey minute) and try to keep under 4,500 rpm for a while. I did not even touch sport + until after 1,000 miles. But that is just me - ask a dozen people and you will get everything from never drive it above 4,000 rpms to they threw it into sport + and did a wheelie out of the parking lot on delivery, and everything in between.
Drive it in good health!

Interesting... Same thing my dealer said. Probably also tje reason they dont use break-in oil anymore.
