Gas Mileage on window sticker-Fact or fiction??
I now have almost 1000 miles of my 991 C2s and I am under-impressed with the gas mileage. My first trip meter field has been recording the time, mileage, etc from the day of delivery and I am currently averaging around 12-13mpg. I have a 7MT and I always drive the car with sports plus on.
I can't bring myself to drive without it since I spent $4-5K to get the most firm handling I could( which I love to feel in a sports car).
I was wondering what other people were getting with the spor buttons off, with PDK, with the start-stop feature activated.

I have 2013 C2S with 7MT.
I am getting about 20-21 in general use but I really don't drive it particularly hard.
I took one longer trip and got close to 28.
I have yet to use Sport Plus as I don't see the point with a MT. I don't require a stiffer ride around town.
I use normal mode about 1/2 the time and Sport with the sport exhaust on the other 1/2.

About the same as RNL. Mileage will vary greatly with your foot and your right hand. If you want good mileage, cruise at below 2000 RPM and don't jack rabbit start.

Best I have ever recorded with my C2S SPASM is 30 miles/Gallon - that needs the most careful throttle work possible...
I tend to average 20-22 miles/Gallon with day to day driving. I could improve on that no doubt - but why ? I have other cars for that...
Worst I have recorded is about 8 miles/Gallon but that involved nearly exclusively hill climb performance driving.
Honestly, these are excellent numbers, without equal for a 100% fossil fuel powered super car - no matter where your loyalties lie.
Comparing with say, a F360 which gets 400Hp out of its V8, the F360 will require at least +50% more fuel to give the same driving thrill (if you will allow that it can). Does however look gorgeous in red...

I find it completely dependent on how I drive it. I have a 7MT which I almost always have in sport mode. When I drive it a bit aggressively it shows immediately on my mileage. However on the highway in 7th I get great mileage. I think it really depends on how you drive the car.

Gas mileage on sticker on car is based on driving the car in the absolute most economical fashion on an absolutely flat road. Go up hills you'll take a "hit". I get about 12 mpg driving in the city in Sport+ (US gallon measurement). We buy expensive sports cars and drive them as they were meant to be driven and that hits the gas mileage immensely. Why complain?
