A couple weekends ago I was driving through the 93 Tunnel (I love tunnels in 3rd gear w. sport exhaust on, the sound is exhilarating) and I watched a hub cap roll across 3 lanes and then hit me broadside. Xpel took all the damage on my rocker panel I had it peeled off and a new piece installed. No damage to the paint underneath.

 

That's great news. I also have Xpel and believe it to be self-healing (scratches and scuffs).
Was your film torn / ripped from the impact?

 

Glad to hear it works as advertised. I have noticed some marks on my clear bra as well, which would have definitely chipped the paint had the clear bra not been on. Definitely one of the better investments made . . . .

 

Ripped the film, not the paint. Xpel had been great. Light scratches do disappear.
