I went to the Porsche World Roadshow this past weekend at the Monticello Motor Club, and I thought the event was pretty neat. Obviously just a tease of driving on the track (and in the steady rain yesterday, no less), but it was pretty cool to experience the Cayman, Cayman S, C4 and C4S back-to-back. They also had some awesome Porsches belonging to Motor Club members on display. Pardon the iPhone pics.

Agreed 100%. I happen to have been behind a fairly conservative pair, and we topped out at about 85. I may or may not have exceeded that speed on the ride up to Monticello from Long Island.

Driving in the rain was challenging, but I found the grip of these cars to be extremely impressive. The experience showed me how while I usually don't "push" my car in the rain, it's good to know that the handling limits are very impressive even in bad conditions.
