$250 for the fronts, + mounting + balancing.

It boils down to price.
Whats the price quote for just the wheel/tires?

IIRC i was quoted $1300 for 5yrs but haggled like a dog.

If you havent bought your car, try to work it into the deal.

Quite a spread on what people are paying for coverage.

Is it possible to purchase a policy directly, without going through the dealer?

I go every 3 months to get the scrufs and curb rash that the wife decorates the wheels with. So far the dealer has not said anything. The first company that I purchased the warranty was terrible. They advertised they would come to you, however that did not happen. I complained to the dealer, whom I purchased the warranty from and had them chase them done and get a refund. The new company thru the dealer covers tires, wheels and dents. I've been very happy with these warranties. I drop off the car to the dealer, they usually give me a loaner and I'm good.
