PSE retrofit cost

My preowned car had everything I wanted except for PSE, can anyone who has had it installed at the dealer (including the switch) comment on what it cost out the door? Thanks!

I know there are other alternatives but I want to keep it factory. I have a base car, I think it's more expensive on there, so specify if you can.

I've been quoted $2600-$2750 for the kit form out of state. The problem is, that's like bringing your own steak to the restaurant and asking the chef to cook it. They want to mark up the parts, too -- not that they shouldn't, they have overhead to deal with, too, and the local dealers do not have large parts departments who are shipping parts all over the country like some dealers do. How much labor is involved in the install?

dbturbo2 is infamous around these parts
If I am remembering correctly about 8 hrs labor at a cost of about 1k, give or take.

No need to feel bad about bringing your own parts. You could give them the option to match your price then the choice is theirs to make a reduced profit or zero profit on the ehaust.

It is more expensive for a base 991 than an S version as some of the parts are already on the S.
