Exhaust and sound symposer
Exhaust and sound symposer
So I am about to install the FVD sport exhaust on a 911S
and have a few questions. I don't want to lose the interior noise from the sound symposer - is it connected to the exhaust in any way? I know it's noise coming from the intake, but wanted to make sure there isn't some vacuum tubing connecting the symposer to the exhaust somehow.
Also, is it recommended to heat wrap or coat the exhaust? I've just recently heard of this and did a google search with mixed results. Any input is appreciated!

No you wont lose the sound from the sound symposer. My FVD xpipe is wrapped and somehow still managed to melt the vacuum line that came with it. Doesn't matter to me since I would never close the valves anyway. Iam curious what did you receive with your xpipe for the valves to work?
